If you prefer a more subdued adventure, check out Miller Park, the sterling home of the Milwaukee Brewers – a perfect day trip from nearby Madison, or closer West Milwaukee. West of downtown Milwaukee is Marquette University – check it out during the winter months for thrilling college basketball as the Golden Eagles soar high in hopes of reaching the NCAA Tournament.

Among the variety of compelling and exciting sights to see with the family, be sure to check out the Discovery World Museum – over 120,000 square feet of space dedicated to hands on learning exhibits perfect for the kids. Make the trip in from Mequon.
