Your Guide to Playing & Staying in WI

Outdoor Wisconsin

Lakeside Fun in WI

No better place to get outside than Wisconsin. Whatever season you choose, a vacation to outdoor Wisconsin will keep you busy with activity and adventure.

Whether it be a family vacation, a romantic getaway, or an overdue motorcycle excursion, your time in Wisconsin is sure to impress.

Check out the snowmobile trails of Eagle River in northern Wisconsin – known as the Snowmobile Capital of the World.

Rent a machine and tour the snowy Midwest during your winter getaway, or choose from snowshoeing, ice fishing, and cross-country skiing. Waiting for it to warm up?

Then head to the 400-acre Fox Brook Park in Brookfield – just west of Milwaukee. Try fishing for perch in Fox Brook Lake, enjoying a game of volleyball, or just stretching out on the sand for a little “you” time. Even sailing is available, as well as golfing, biking and hiking.

Wisconsin is also home to the Waterpark Capital of the World – otherwise known as Wisconsin Dells. Set in the southern part of the state, Wisconsin Dells encompasses more than four waterparks – including the largest waterpark in the country, Noah’s Ark Waterpark. Once in Wisconsin Dells, you can also try zip lining, fishing, and exploring nearby state parks.

Never a dull moment in Wisconsin, so start planning your trip to the Badger State.

Greater Milwaukee

Beaches in Brookfield – what better way to spend your summer in Wisconsin? Just west of Milwaukee, Brookfield is an ideal summer getaway for those looking to spend some time outdoors.

Fox Brook Park has it all. Choose from biking, hiking, golfing and even sailing in in Fox Brook Lake – all set in northwest Brookfield. Fox Brook Park is known for its 400-acre beach – complete with volleyball nets, sunny spots for sunbathers, and some prime sandcastle real estate.

Reel in some bass, bluegill, and perch when fishing in Fox Brook Lake, and enjoy paddle-boating, swimming or scuba diving. Pack a lunch for the designated picnic areas, and get a great view of the whole park from the observation decks. Fox Brook Park is open from June through August, so take advantage of summer memories in Brookfield.
