Northern Wisconsin from the Lake Superior Lowlands south to Eau Claire and Green Bay offers amazing outdoor experiences. Enjoy this Winter Runnerland event which ends with a bowl of noodles for participants.

Travelers through Northern Wisconsin find fun events and activity all year long. The StageNorth Theater in Washburn, on Lake Superior's Chequamegon Bay, hosts the Big Water Film Fest. The 2010 festival is November 5th through the 7th – three days of excellent films and special events. The 2010 schedule will showcase filmmaker Melody Gilbert and special guest Jim Abrahams. Superior, west of Washburn, is home to the University of Wisconsin Superior. UWS sponsors fourteen men's and women's athletic teams, offering residents and visitors a variety of sporting events year round.
