Visiting Milwaukee & Madison

While there are many year round destinations you can visit for exceptional fun, the Milwaukee-Madison area of Wisconsin just happens to be one of the very best. With sterling, must-see attractions, an impressive list of events and festivals, and welcoming locals, Madison and Milwaukee will yield unmatched levels of fun and entertainment – especially this winter.

Milwaukee is certainly a must-visit metropolitan city, rich with culture, attractions, pleasant locals, and so much more. This winter, your stay should be met with some of the city’s best and brightest entertainment spots – the Discover World Museum is fun for all ages, the Historic Third Ward can yield edifying insights into local history, and the Lakefront Brewery, Inc. is perfect for an afternoon drink and snack. It’s all an easy drive away from nearby Kenosha.

Brady Street in Milwaukee will be a highlight, no doubt, and the Milwaukee Art Museum can yield a full afternoon of premier exhibits and installations sure to expand your mind. Make your way to the BMO Harris Bradley Center on November 4th for one of late-2016’s most anticipated concerts as Keith Urban takes to the stage at 7 p.m. Locals from nearby Pewaukee and Germantown are sure to make the short drive in for this show.

As the New Year approaches, be sure to plan for a night of knee-slappers and gut-busters – it’s Jeff Dunham live on stage in Milwaukee. Visit the BMO Harris Bradley Center on December 29th and kick off your NYE celebration early with one of the most exceptional ventriloquist’s working today. And in early 2017, the BMO Harris Center will feature, as they do all Milwaukee Bucks home games, the Phoenix Suns visiting for an intense NBA matchup – game time is 2:30 p.m. on February 26th.

Be sure to plan for an extended stay in Madison during your next winter visit to the area. Along with being the capital of Wisconsin, it’s also home to a wealth of can’t-miss attractions. Plan on a tour of the Wisconsin State Capitol, and the Overture Center for the Arts is a must for families.

Make plans to explore the Orpheum Theatre in Madison during an early-2017 visit. On January 20th, you can see Lukas Graham live on stage starting at 7 p.m. On January 31st don’t miss Twenty One Pilots as they perform live at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, starting at 7 p.m.
