Marquette University
Students in the Milwaukee area have a wonderful selection of higher education institutions to choose from. Marquette University, located west of Milwaukee, was founded in 1881 by the Society of Jesus as a private Jesuit, Roman Catholic university. It began from the vision of the Most Rev. Martin J. Henni, Milwaukee's first Catholic bishop and named after Father Jacques Marquette, a 17th Century explorer and missionary. Miller Park
Get ready for fun in Brew Town. Residents and visitors of Milwaukee know how to have a great time - they head to Miller Park for exciting baseball action.
