Pabst Theater

Pabst Theater

Pabst Theater

Since 1895, the Pabst Theater has been home to wonderful theater productions. Brewer Frederick Pabst had this German Renaissance Revival style theater built to resemble a European opera house.

This beautiful theater, a city landmark building in downtown Milwaukee, is the oldest theater in the theater district.

"The Pabst" remains the fourth-oldest continuously operating theater in America and it was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1991.

This opulent theater features incredible acoustics, two balconies, a proscenium stage, 1,345 seats, and a hydraulic orchestra pit.
