The Flemish Renaissance Revival style Pabst Mansion in Milwaukee was built in 1892 for Captain Frederick Pabst and his family.
The founder of the Pabst Brewing Company and his family lived in this historic mansion until 1908.
Once the mansion was sold by the Pabst descendants in 1908, the mansion was purchased by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.
It remained the residence for five Archbishops, priests and sisters until 1975. It was saved from demolition when Wisconsin Heritages, Inc. bought it for preservation.
